I've got a Chase "The Edit" stay booked at the new Intercontinental Halong Bay in a few weeks. It didn't automatically populate in the app for me, but here's the response I got from the hotel when I inquired about it:

"We have successfully received your Diamond Ambassador number. While it may not have been automatically reflected in your reservation booked via Chase’s “The Edit” program, please be assured that it will be added to your booking upon check-in. All eligible Diamond Ambassador benefits will be fully honored during your stay, ensuring you enjoy the privileges and exceptional service you deserve as a valued member."

I'm presuming that means elite nights/points accrual as well, but I'll check back in afterwards.
