Did try some Chinese map thing that was mentioned in another thread, but that wouldn't install.

Have managed to get a VPN (Mango) working now, so can access some bits and pieces.

Did have some bits and pieces in place beforehand as i partially knew what to expect, and did have a Holafly e-sim ready to go, but that refused to connect to any provider here so I had to buy a Chinese sim card (they set that up for me with other VPNs)
