For Alipay, if you know anybody in China, just ask them to transfer funds to your wallet (vs. linking a credit card) to be able to do daily stuff like riding the subway.

Google maps is pretty useless in China anyway, so would suggest you use a local map app (or maybe try the web version, like map.baidu.com or ditu.baidu.com).
