It’s just a chocolate bar.

But my wife loves it when I (usually the one with higher status) give her mine.

So if the FA told me that they didn’t cater enough for all Gold+ elites, I would write in to AS and ask for compensation. It’s a documented benefit according to

and maybe them issuing credit or miles worth many times the price of a small chocolate bar will get the bean counters to approve sufficient catering for all entitled (ahem) guests.
