Flying FUK-HND in Class J as OWS with a no status companion, we each had a piece of 23kg bag for checking but both pieces were tagged to my name without any issue. Is the total weight allowance for all pax in the same booking added together (class + status benefits, so 20kg X2 + 20kg status, so 60kg) and then allowed to be distributed (/reallocated) so that they could check both 23kg pieces under my name? Or did they extend a 6kg courtesy to me?
