DTW SC - Meh, but fine

DTW-LAX - we misconnected, so my shake shack was not available and I had BBQ chicken - it was absolutely disgusting (the dessert was good)

LAX DL one lounge - best meal I've had in months - Jidori Chicken/Caesar Salad/Cheese Plate, wife had Sushi and Fish of some sort. Really good

LAX-AKL - skipped dinner which is a good thing since my order was wrong. It seems that DL can't handle multiple meal flights and multiple people in a PNR.

LAX-AKL - mid flight snack of Pizza - ok, but kind of a mess

LAX-AKL - breakfast was very good - eggs and chicken sausage

AKL-LAX - lounge sucked! Not as bad as JNB but still bad.

AKL-LAX - chose the ribs, they had tomato sauce on them and looked like meatloaf but they were in fact ribs. Excellent! Huge portion, I was stuffed! Ice cream was actually edible!

AKL-LAX - breakfast was horrible, which is unlike DL IME. Quiche, no meat, cold croissant, no butter

LAX DL One lounge - again, out of this world. Huevos Rancheros, Impossible Sausage, Yogurt with Berries

LAX-ATL - Meatballs - very good, dish presented as a mess, but was tasty

ATL SC (D) - yuck

Rant over!
We are going to NZ soon, thank you for this.
We typically skip the meal on the redeye--particularly with the D1 lounge beforehand--but that is a bummer they messed up your order.
Was the AKL lounge the Strata? Why was it so bad? I assume it was complementary access?
I look forward to the ribs masquerading as meatloaf.
