I'm on ba106 in club which has a technical fault and is likely not going to leave DXB tonight, we're 3 hours delayed and the captain doesn't think it can be fixed. I'm going to miss my longhaul connection in LHR.

What's the best strategy from here. I'm ba gold but using my AA exec plat for the booking. Should I call the gold line and try and get on alternate flights? I don't see much if any availability in business on other flights. Will ba re book me automatically? I booked through their website

Even if I get to london tomorrow the issue is then getting on the next flight. Any advice appreciated as to what to do.
