I'm perfectly happy to accept incompetence, I just don't see a reason why would anyone want to create such hidden text in the website. it's not that I don't believe that an update could be published early by an accident, I just don't see a purpose in an update like this. Surely if the idea is that the update was only supposed to go out after the announcement, it would be an update that would be visible.
