I only list something under “bad” when it is genuinely poor or a significant drawback beyond what I’ve already mentioned elsewhere — for example, consistently weak service or a real operational issue. That’s not the case here. The breakfast served in the Club Lounge is not bad at all; it’s simply a limited selection.
You can of course have a larger buffet in the main restaurant, but I personally prefer the quiet atmosphere of the lounge.
In the evening, the hot dishes are mediocre — and I already stated that above — but again, nothing terrible.

As for the room, it is compact, yes, but far from problematic.
My room with a river view was bright, pleasant and perfectly functional.
At around 32 square metres, it’s hardly a disastrous size, especially in Singapore.
I can’t comment on the other room categories, but mine certainly didn’t feel cramped.

Overall, the hotel is genuinely enjoyable, and I find the location very pleasant.
I would be more than happy to stay at this property again, and will definitely again book a river view room.
