Welcome to Flyertalk and the AAdvantage forum!

I have not flown AA 70, but have flown AA 71 (the retrun flight) in F on two occassions. I consider it a great flight.

American's First Class meal service is remarkably consistent and if you have flown AA in F on other European flights, the meal service you will receive will be identical. If you flwon AA in F on South American or Japan routes, it will be nearly identical.

You will receive dinner and breakfast. I am not sure if breakfast includes a hot option on that route or just a continental breakfast. Flights to Europe from ORD anf JFK only get a continental breakfast.

Dinner will start with warm nuts and vegetables and dip served with your drink of choice. Your table will then be set individually (no tray). The first course is smoked slamon served from the serving trolley with the traditional garnishes, including sour cream, minced red onion and capers. Next will be the salad cart, also plated seatside from the serving trolley. You will get to select a la carte vegetables and can add a lobster tail and claw as well as a choice between a creamy and an oil and vinger dressing. Next is the main course, which will be a choice of five. The choices will include a beef option, a vegetarian option and lilely a pasta, chicken and fish choice. You may have the option to add addtional side dishes such as a broccoli in cheese sauce. Dinner concludes with the cheese and dessert cart, where you can select a cheese plate (used to be a full cheeseboard, but this has been cut back on the European flights), an ice cream sundae or a fruit salad with sorbet.

After dinner, you will be given a bottle of water. In addition to the cycled movies, in First Class, you get a choice of several additonal films which you can watch on a VHS player built into the seat.

The seat will likely be the Flagship Suite, which is AA's premier seat. In April a few 777s will still have the old configuration, which si often referred to as the "coffins." The FRA flight rarely ever gets these, but it is possible. THe Flagship Suite reclines flat and is very private. For seat selection, check-out www.seatguru.com for reccomendations. As your flight is even numbered, meal orders are taken front to back.

Enjoy the flight!
