Visited last weekend on a FNC and an extra night with points. Wonderful hotel, but glad we got the room for free, since the rates, even on a Monday night in November, were pretty high.

Pros:
- Fantastic views all around.
- Great outdoor spaces with fire pits, lawn games, heated pool (though it was 28 out and I wasn't braving it), hiking trail, and obviously the golf (but we didn't golf)
- Upgraded from a standard 2 Queens to a 2 Queens Woodland Junior Suite. No real view but tons of space for our family, which was nice.
- The food was fantastic at Croft and the Pocket Cafe (didn't eat at Craeg, but it looked incredible and the fancy place wasn't open); also, prices were reasonable considering you're basically trapped there
- Two free drinks 'per person' at the Pocket Cafe Happy Hour (5-7). It was fun grabbing some wine or the cocktail of the month and then reading by the fireplace or playing board games in the library
- Brought our own books, but there was a good selection in the library and a lot of board games/types, which was great for our kid. The fireplaces were going almost the whole time, too.

Cons:
- $43 to hand my keys to someone else to drive my car will never not infuriate me; that being said, the valets were pretty good and definitely braved some cold temps to hoof it up to the lot and get cars
- Service was fairly slow at Croft, including at times when it really shouldn't have been
- The main bar was really missing out on the Scottish theme by not having any good peaty Scotch

If you go, I highly recommend hiking in Cloudland Canyon SP only 15 min away. Also, while there aren't many options around, there are a few great holes in the wall. We really enjoyed Lookout Mt Pizza.
