A top story on the Daily Mail today. Marriott are getting eviscerated in the comments. I think all this egg on Marriott's face might, against all odds, result in Marriott determining that the cost to refund guests out of their own pocket is going to be worth it. And changes in how they approach these type of partnerships...

That's the problem with these faux-technology startups: are they good, or just subsidised? Sonder was probably great
because their investors were paying half the cost of your stay.
