I was checking in at the EDI lounge on Thursday and the guy next to me asked about letting his girlfriend borrow his card to get into the lounge (if he wasn't travelling).

The lounge agent said that they are very strict in confiscating cards when people attempt this.

Has anyone ever tried this? I did let a friend borrow my card when she was travelling in economy, but she didn't have the bottle to go into the lounge.

I'm not sure how they would confiscate it, as normally just waving the card at them is enough.
