October/November 2025 - Stayed two nights using 85K certificates plus points. Fantastic hotel, amenities and staff (all friendly, attentive and helpful). Thanked for status and bumped up to a high floor (I'm sure suites were available, but I didn't ask for one. The deluxe room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the pools/beach/ocean.) Titanium status included free daily buffet breakfast for two ($120 per day including tax, tip, etc.), free drink in bar daily, free gelato and champagne all day long in lobby, free coffee/tea in morning at coffee/pastry bar, free in-room coffee, free water in room, in lobby, in gym. Unlimited, free use of on-property beach cruiser bikes was also included (each trip was free up to 3 hours, then $15/hour - redocking would reset the 3 hour counter). Beach chairs w/umbrella and towels are also included at no charge. Used the complimentary (up to 2 mile radius from hotel) house car (Bentley) one time, really nice. The only parking option is valet ($65 plus tax/tip per day!) Absolutely, my favorite Marriott property to date.

I was my birthday and Marriott took notice - $25 Marriott gift certificate, ten helium balloons with four delicious cupcakes and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot - plus a nice, hand-written note. Totally unexpected but much appreciated. Great weekend!!!
