I have no problem with a fee for oversize or heavy bags as they require more fuel to transport and drive up AA's costs. People who can't pack lightly should pay more, just as overweight people who roll into an adjacent seat should pay for 2 seats.

However, AA should raise the weight limit to match its competition.
