This would definitely be better. I think the IHG model would solve a lot of problems with the credit card gang. It's kind of annoying that as a person who actually spends 60 nights in hotels, the lounges are always full of people who rarely stay at Hilton hotels. It's one of the reasons that I was thinking of jumping ship to Accor last year.

The good thing is, if Hilton introduces what has been suggested, I may actually be able to try Accor next year while keeping my HH Diamond status. Hilton will give me an opportunity to see if the grass is greener on the other side.
