SNA is way more premium than BOS, although smaller.
SAN/SEA/MIA are at least as premium as BOS if not more, justifying premium planes. Tech/biotech/wealthy Latam travelers.
I just dont understand why BOS travelers feel entitled to lie-flats, when it’s just another transcon. Yes, there was a time when it existed, but its gone now, get over it!

Worth noting that IAD-LAX/SFO are high-volume routes. Using a low density A321 might not be the right capacity choice especially since IAD is a banked hub. Both LAX and SFO have widebody service already.
