Not exactly sure what "outside your account" means, but I did 3x BOGO $10 cards on Oct 30th and did 3 more today, all redeemed to my normal account without any problems.

They are being unusually generous with the stacking recently: 2x AA miles + $10 BOGO + 5% Paypal + 1.5% Citi. I approve.
