Yes! I became a Diamond the first year they started it, back when there wasn't even known requirements for it. Remained a Diamond since then.
I would hope they would put all in the higher tier like Marriott did when they changed their program.
Delta changed their "Lifetime" values. I am 3MM, it used to be lifetime Gold. It's now lifetime Diamond. A very nice upgrade!
