Hmmm interesting, thanks. I hadn't picked up on the U class reference. I didn't know POUG could be made into a redemption class, but I guess with revenue based earning it doesn't matter now as tier points will be awarded based on the monetary spend rather than a specific class.

The GUF1 upgrade price W-J was something like £650 in additional taxes/charges plus the GUF1 itself. The upgrade price in MMB I was offered and took up was less than that, without using the GUF1......
