Istanbul Muscat in economy with BA avios and £50. Got the Omanair PNR from BA and no problem selecting a premium aisle seat on the WY site (free for Oneworld emerald).

Seat selection stuck all the way through to online check-in, but boarding card issued with a window-seat in the very last row. Weird.

Check-in at IST was a bit of a bun fight, but the agent was able to more-or-less resolve the situation - blamed "airport control". Flight on time and absolutely fine.
