So, I'm looking at this - I know it obviously varies from country to country, but I'm wondering if there aren't jurisdictions in e.g. Europe where "Sorry, you're being evicted mid-stay with no recourse" (which is what some of the rumblings seem to be pointing to) isn't illegal.

Also, given how quickly this turned south, this is definitely a turd on Marriott's end for letting someone in this sort of position hitch their wagon to them.
