Strong suspicion that given the relative small number of High J 789s are lower MTOW, UA should be able to get around this on a resumed LAX-SIN. Delta has been operating the A359s at mixed MTOWs, they've even flown the 275t MTOW A359s on JNB-ATL with 306 seats!, but that was a light load that night. UA will figure it out a way where the lower MTOW aircraft will avoid the longest routes for these aircraft.
