I have booked a flight on Gulf Air from JFL to Bahrain on their new route . I am thinking of upgrading to Business class as its a12 hr flight.

Does anyone know if they offer any last minute upgrade at the checkin counter or 24 hr before departure ?

I see option to upgrade to BC on their website but it shows min BID as US$1700 which i feel is a lot. So i am wondering if by any chance, Do they reduce the upgrade cost as departure comes closer?

Any strategies or feedback on gulf air upgrade to BC ?
