Regarding liquids and international flights…none of this is new. Enforcement is sporadic at best. However, duty free be it Europe or Asia (from recent experience) is fairly consistent and they have your purchase in a sealed bag on the jetway as you board. I’ve never had any duty free items confiscated….ever.
I find the jetbridge delivery to be a US thing. Certainly not at at LHR (my home away from home
