I got the official notice of annual fee increase from $95 to $150 on the Mileage Plus Explorer. It says they will charge early in the New Year because it takes effect on 12/28/2025 so I would have to cancel by 12/27/2025.

So I've been able to redeem for awards to Oceania the last 4 years and increasingly the award search lists certain Saver awards are only available for having this card.


Has anyone canceled this card in the past year and have seen reduced Saver award availability?
