My EVA miles expire this year. But I want to book a flight in 2027, which I can't do yet. So I had a crafty idea. What if I were to book an award flight and then pay the $50 cancellation fee? Would I get all my miles refunded and would they have an extended expiration date? Or do I risk losing everything?
