I stayed at this property as my first Sonder experience and it was pretty bad - room was run down and not clean, refrigerator and AC were very loud and annoying, just generally not a room I wanted to spend any time in. It ensured that I never stayed in another Sonder property since.

The problem with Marriott's expand at all costs strategy is the cost is I have zero confidence in most Marriott affiliated properties and will only stay in the high end ones now if they also have good reviews; it's not worth taking a chance.
