Well hopefully they give us more notice to any major program changes such as elimination of some benefits than BA did with their FFP. I would consider moving programs although I'm not a fan of Marriots (SPG was my main program way back in the day but I rarely stay at those properties since the Marriot merger) and in the one location I consistently spend 25-30 nights in the Marriot/IHG options aren't as appealing. However the lower night requirement could save me money by moving stays in expensive Hilton cities like London to other chains like Radisson etc. when the Hilton rates are crazy so it might actually work out for me. While the rare suite upgrades are nice I travel by myself and really only sleep in the room so I'm no that bothered with the usual phony upgrades (city view room etc.) I receive.
