The area is residential with some office buildings. Absolutely nothing of interest nearby. Even the metro station is a 10 minute walk through the park. If you decide to taxi it to the city centre, you will spend nearly as much as you would be saving on room rate...

I haven't stayed at this hotel since the rebrand but...

1. Voco is supposedly a conversion brand, where the usual brand standards don't apply
2. If the hotel owner's thought that Holiday Inn brand standards were too tough, it can't be good news
3. There's already a Voco in Madrid, so it can't be that the owners thought the new brand was fresh and would get them a unique spot in the market
