With these changes I would have to manage my stays a little better to get new reserve and keep my ambassador status. The question is will it be worth the effort. IE a confirmed upgrade to what, etc. Marriott has lowered what their upgrades coupons are.

Secondly, not to be mean, if you are mostly staying at Hampton inns, etc where are you going to use an upgrade at. A once-a-year vacation?
