Cardo is an interesting, yet imperfect, hotel. Here are my impressions and photos:

Note: I wasn’t proactively offered late checkout but didn’t ask for it due to my train schedule.

Pros:

• Upgraded to a Fab Sky Suite, which was a large full suite
• Comfortable living room couch
• Bed was comfortable - medium slightly plush mattress, plush and thick pillows, covers not super thick but were fine
• Great white chocolate mocha bar as welcome gift
• Destination dispatch elevators work well for a hotel of this size
• Breakfast for Elites was fine - decent omelet and salmon, would agree that the machine coffee wasn’t amazing - large space but busy
• Automated curtains

Neutral:

• Busy lines at check-in even with 3 agents
• Shower pressure is okay

Cons:

• Shower drain did not drain quickly and led to flooding unless I turned it off periodically
• Noise isolation is bad - both sirens from outside and other guests in hallway
• Climate control was odd - very cold in bedroom and warm in the rest of the room (had to turn off bedroom AC)
