A couple of other points re the MAD transfer

Security is a nightmare
Make you take all camera gear out of your bag ; I was sent back three times

No personal bag search

The bag had passed seamlessly through security in London Quito and Columbia

Horrendous flight ; barely any sleep Dreadful family with 2 young kids terrorised the whole business cabin!

Iberia can't print BA boarding passes

but I was group zero in Iberia's eyes!
