How many were forced by ATC and how many were due to DL operational failures? (I don’t have any idea; I’ve been doing other stuff today).

Assuming it’s ATC as I’ve gotten the feel from in this thread, then I don’t look at this as a meltdown. DL is addressing issues in an orderly fashion. To me a DL meltdown is a chaotic disruption in service where crew and planes end up being mismatched and an inability for delta’s internal systems to keep the planes going.

I get you define it differently, and that’s fine. Not sure the point of arguing about it or the need to single out my point of view in a post from two days ago.
