I chose ANZ as I am 190cm tall with Elite status and to date I have always been able to select something decent.
Kind of sad this is not an option now.
I would also like to use my upgrades but also not avalaible for the next 2 flights (YVR in Dec)
ExpertFlyer shows the flight is fully sold in Biz (CDZJ) and PE (UEOA). Seats in biz 6A and 7A are blocked for airport control, to be assigned to manage pax. Some PE seats are also blocked, I think 23 DEFG and 29 DG.

Alternatively, there could be an aircraft type change pending, and if the case then once confirmed seat map usually opens up again.

What class are you booked in?
