I think of a meltdown in line with snowpocalypse or crowdstrike. I see the preemptive CX as orderly. You know before day of travel and you can change your plans or not go… eg you may be inconvenienced but you don’t necessarily have to suffer like many of us have experienced.
It seems like DL is handing this well for now and not having a domino effect. I’m still flying… but I’m also protected by living in ATL. Either my flight is going or it’s not.
