I do get that transferring huge numbers of Avios between accounts is likely to set alarm bells ringing given the levels of fraud that have been going on, so I think the OPs rather dramatic phrasing is probably unwarranted, but I don't think this suggestion is the answer.

Combine Avios

  1. Following successful account linking, Linked Members can move their Avios between accounts.
  2. Avios can be moved in either direction, without incurring any fee.
  3. There is no minimum or maximum number of Avios that can be moved between the Linked Member’s accounts. However, British Airways PLC and Qatar Airways reserve the right to impose certain limits in the event of suspected fraudulent transactions.
  4. There is no limit on the number of Avios movement transactions other than in cases of suspected fraud.
