I would anyway try it especially if your arrival in to KUL is about 10pm or later, and particularly if it’s a single ticket.

Recently on my FB group some people made a lot of noise that they were denied entry when travelling CNX-KUL-LHR in J with the first sector arriving round 16:30 and the MH4 departing around 09:30 the morning. I have strongly suggested that they make the rules clear and also clarify the issue regarding accessing the international lounge when transiting overnight to domestic. Sadly they are now ignoring my requests for an update.
