No one here I think is defending or justifying rudeness. For obvious reasons.
Again, I don’t know when all this went down and how long you have waited for a reply from someone at AS, but given that it isn’t exactly a “needs immediate resolution issue” case, perhaps they are still working on this (e.g., getting issue reviewed by local management or staff). If it has been two weeks without a reply, maybe reach out to a higher level.
