Like the Japanese snacks, wish they would be on every flight instead of tired almonds and cashews
Japanese meal was decent but obviously nothing like on a Japanese airline. But was happy with it. Sable fish main course.
Chicken skewers snack was surprisingly good as was the Japanese breakfast option (beef, egg stir fry)
Crew started off mid but I think they were just rushed as the service was excellent throughout the flight.
Had the same Captain as the last time i took this flight!
HND > YYZ last week.
I still noticed there were cashews and almonds in the mix - but only 3 almonds to 2 cashews plus what tasted like rice cracker and fried peas mix? Either way, mix was good.
Japanese meal option was pork belly - surprisingly tender, meat dried out a tiny bit on the surface in the heater, but biting into it reveals tender meat. Appetizer tray doesn’t beat JAL of ANA but obviously expected.
Chicken Yakitori Skewers available during midnight snack…. If we had the same skewers, I agree. Though the meat texture felt a little…. Artificial, the sauce was fire.
Service director was nice - crew came around often, offered snacks/food/water/drinks. Sat first seat in second cabin. Still got the welcome spiel from service director, thanks for flying with us, etc.
