I live in SE Asia, with frequent travel home to the UK and into Europe(4 times per year), and have held my *G since 2016.
I would normally, even under the revised rules, manage to cover the required miles and then make a point of using A3 for European travel, particularly visits to Athens.
With these new enhancements, it is not worthwhile, plus there are more suitable alternatives in Europe than flying to Athens

I'm sorry, A3, I am out, and sadly, you have also lost a customer. LH/LX is significantly more convenient, and if I wanted TK *G, it is now a better proposition.

Being based in SE Asia, I may return to SQ, not the best programme, but achievable, as I am in a fortunate position with long hauls in Business, so mileage adds up quickly.
It's been a blast, and I have enjoyed my time in Athens and on A3. IST/FRA/MUC/ZRH awaits!
