I received the same letter referencing the last four numbers of a Chase BA card that I cancelled several years ago. I have had a new Chase BA Visa for a couple of years and the same BA Executive Club (or whatever it's called now) number is/was attached to both. I am skeptical and cautious about e-mailing my BA Club account number to the e-mail address provided (
[email protected]). The telephone numbers on the letter are the same as on the back of my (credit) card so I will likely call or submit an inquiry via the Chase website. I am tempted by 50k Avios but it seems odd that there has been nothing in the press/points blogs (that I've seen) about JPM/Chase proactively contacting former card members to give them "free" Avios. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
