I purchased a bottled water in SCL after security, for my flight to DFW. Upon arriving at the gate, they were doing inspection of carryons and prohibited all liquids even if purchased after security. The store had happily sold it to me. What's the deal here?
The deal is you were flying to the us, the store sells water to people going to many locations, but the us requires screening that meets their standards which not all international locations do therefore special screening for us bound flights
