I don't know what you are putting in, but the rates are up now from when I looked earlier, but my rate with no corporate code or anything is much less than yours still on the direct side from Marriott. I gave you exact dates, but you seemed to have chosen only 2 nights. And again on a points value basis if you only do 5, you are losing out big time using your CSR points vs using Bonvoy Points.
I can reproduce what you're seeing for Nov 13 to 19 and it's because the property has a long term stay rate that is significantly discounted from the rack rate and member rate. You won't get this difference if you reduce the length of stay within that period, like changing to Nov 13 - 16. If I do that, the best flexible rate that isn't one of my corporate or special rates is 891 EUR a night which is in the same ballpark as EDIT.
So the takeaway is that when hotels have special rates, especially for longer length of stay, the consortium programs are more likely to represent a bad deal. But ultimately they are in line with the best publicly available pricing in most cases.
