Been sitting in the plane for about 30 minutes, just finished boarding AC5 YUL-NRT. No PDB again of any kind offered. Is this still a thing in J on AC?
The last 3 weeks I have flown international ex-YYZ, ex-YUL and ex-YVR - and have had a PDB on each flight. I don't think there is any kind of systemic removal of PDB.
I will say that it feels like they are sending the pax down the jetway pretty quickly after the cabin crew these days though - I've noticed a lot more distributing of amenity kits, headphones, menus etc. after boarding has started in recent flights. Which might mean that the PDB gets squeezed out sometimes.
