Happy Friday! Last Friday finished with a bang, or rather a big drip. The landlord started working on the roof a couple of weeks ago, and they broke some tiles above our flat. The heavens opened around 9pm and water started coming in from behind the kitchen cupboards. Luckily IKEA seems to make pretty waterproof kitchens! But we had to insist a lot for the roofers to make an extra visit on Saturday. There's a small stain in the bathroom on the other side of the same wall, but it's dry now -- a lick of paint should suffice.

Eurostar return trip planned next week, and then nowt until Christmas.
