Have to go to Bay Area for an upcoming work trip. Would prefer to take the late night flight out of RDU through SLC so I can work a full day before leaving. Connection time is 35 minutes over to SJC. I can clear an RUC on both legs so would be in F however was thinking about checking a bag (though not a hard requirement).

Concerns on making the connection and the bag making the connection?

*Assuming normal conditions and not factoring in potential disruptions from ongoing FAA concerns
