I've had a friend reach out for advice on how to get compensation etc. for a twice cancelled flight to Dubai yesterday and today, which made me look at the BA website and realise the BA105 and BA109 were cancelled yesteday, then the BA105 has also cancelled today, with the BA109 already cancelled for tomorrow. My friend is currently enroute from Helsinki to Dubai, which was the only re-route offered. Do we know what's caused all these cancellations? Thanks
Were they cancelled within 14 days of departure or before that? If before 14 days it may be a tactical/planned cancellation andUK261 would not be applicable, just duty of care. With CWS mentioning no cancellations yesterday I guess this may be the case, but happily stand corrected
