My first NUA miss this year - staying at the Gaylord Rocky Mountains Resort for a work event and my requested upgrade to a Deluxe Suite failed, with NUA returned to account. Then I was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite morning of arrival. Win-win.

I was actually surprised I was allowed to apply NUA on a direct-billed event rate. They've also given me full Bonvoy benefits, including offering a late checkout (don't need it).
