Looks like I’ll be going to the airport tomorrow as planned.
I haven’t seen detailed plans from the other US carriers. It definitely makes my life easier that United has released info through Sunday the 9th.
Delta states that changes for 11/7 and 11/8 are in place. AA and Southwest just say to check for changes. I don’t know if that means that United could have waited and cancelled fewer flights or if they are better about handling system changes like this.
I wonder if UA wanted to make changes first to have more flexibility. Once flights are reduced at a given airport by another airline, I assume it it less available for United to cancel a flight at the same airport since someone beat them to it. If Southwest and AA are late, then their options are constrained by what United and Delta have already announced.
